The snow has been falling with gusto here in New England since last night. I just measured 23 inches in my yard – and it’s still coming down.
Interestingly, this storm came out of nowhere. The original forecast for yesterday was some flurries, and today through the rest of the week? Fair conditions.
That’s what happens when a clipper moving across the country gets trapped by high pressure, keeping it from moving out to sea and instead turning it into a hefty nor’easter.
Since we’ve had very little snow until now, most of what you see in the photo below is from this storm.
