There’s nothing like Christmas lights. I can’t get enough of the wonderful scenes that are created as a result of beautiful lights…whether they’re extravagant big city displays or quaint small town offerings.
I made the image above at Faneuil Hall in Boston last week. The huge Christmas tree is at the far end of the mall area here…but this year it was the deciduous trees that I found especially lovely. There are always white lights running up their trunks – but this season twinkling “stars” were added to the upper branches, giving the whole place a fairy tale kind of vibe. Lovely.
