Your Perfect Shot


Today’s shot is courtesy of Lisa Schulteis…a great view of Mount Rushmore – or “Mount Mushmore,” as Lisa’s youngest child refers to it (out of the mouths of babes come the cutest things!).

Very nice – and such a pretty day! 

The first time I visited Mount Rushmore, we had to ask the park ranger where the faces were! The ceiling was so low you couldn’t see anything; we didn’t realize the monument was actually directly in front of our vantage point…though completely shrouded. (Happily, the following day the clouds lifted.)
