Those of you who follow the blog or know something about me know I’m a landscape photographer. I love to shoot – and I also love to look at images other people have captured. Over the years, some of you have been kind enough to send me some of your own favorites. It seemed like this might be of interest to more of you…
So today we launch Your Perfect Shot – a chance for you to share some of your favorite images with fellow readers. Whether it’s a landscape, a portrait, a candid, an image that tells a story, or a picture of something you find interesting…this space is yours!
If you’d like to submit a shot to share, simply email it to me at this address: firstname.lastname@example.org – and put Photo of the Week in the subject line. Also be sure to add any information you’d like me to include along with your image. Each Friday I’ll post something new.
Our inaugural Perfect Shot seems timely as school is getting underway across the country. This was one of the works of art on display at the Hirshorn Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. a few years back. If you’re too young to have used a typewriter, you may not recognize what this is. Those of us of “a certain age,” however, will remember typewriter erasers! Mike Allen sent us this whimsical photo. Thank you, Mike!
