Thanks to Suzanne Murphy for today’s shot…the sculpture of Alexandre Gustave Eiffel located at Liberty Island in New York.
“I’d never been out to see the Statue of Liberty up close, so was thrilled to finally have some extra time while in New York one spring. I had no idea these beautiful bronze sculptures were on the island. This one was my favorite; here we have Mr. Eiffel, who designed the iron skeleton for the Statue of Liberty, holding a small Eiffel tower in his hands.”
