The Beauty of Autumn

It arrived late last week….at least the calendar says so! In Grand Teton National Park, the snow showed up early (at elevation) but the leaves are taking their sweet time when it comes to putting on their annual autumnal “show.”

Some of the hillsides are finally beginning to turn yellow; smaller shrubs are becoming colorful in many areas; and in the Palisades over on the Idaho side, mountain maples dot the hillsides with bright reds and oranges. It’s coming!
