Autumn officially arrived today. I’d expected to be out photographing the foliage in Grand Teton National Park this week but the conditions have been very poor (30 mile per hour sustained winds and driving rain), not to mention the fact that the foliage is late this year, so that shoot was pushed back to next week.
The good news is the storms have produced quite a bit of snow at higher elevations, which could provide a somewhat unique photographic opportunity.
Shortly thereafter, it’s back to New England to photograph the grand spectacle. For my money, that’s the best foliage “show” you can see.
