I remember with fondness the days when entertainers focused on entertaining rather than spouting off on politics or the issues of the day. Just because one can sing or act doesn’t automatically elevate one’s musings to a superior level of importance, nor are these opinions automatically somehow more insightful.

Popular culture is influenced in large part by Hollywood. It’s nice to know at least one who works in that community acknowledges this as something we ought not let slip away…
