Kindness as a Boomerang


I saw this truism on a sign outside a church in New Hampshire’s White Mountains last week:

That’s just about right, isn’t it?

Kindness is a wonderful sort of boomerang. You send it out – and it tends to make its way back.

The flower you see here is a wild trillium – they’re in bloom right now in the mountains. I’d actually hoped to photograph Lady’s Slippers (NH’s wildflower)…I saw thousands of the plants while hiking in to a waterfall. Unfortunately, though, none were close to blooming.
