Every year during the month of March I spend a week in Arizona on a photo shoot. In the southern part of the state, a few of my favorite places to work are Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon, and the Santa Catalina Mountains – all in the Tucson area – and Organ Pipe National Monument.
Further north, I enjoy the area around Sedona – and of course, Grand Canyon National Park.
This year I’ll be scouting a new location: the Superstition Mountains on the east side of Phoenix.
Given all the snow we’ve had in New England this year (there’s still 12-15 inches of snowpack on my yard), I’m especially anxious to soak in the desert climate and photograph subject matter that doesn’t involve snow!
I’ll post photos upon my return.
Though the studio will be closed next week, the store remains open. All orders placed between March 12 and 19 will begin shipping on Monday the 21st.
