Shipping Information
Items can be shipped anywhere within the 50 United States and to APO addresses. Because many of our products are custom orders, please allow us up to five business days to create and assemble your gift. We’ll notify you via email when your order has shipped. Shipping charges will be added upon checkout (we ship via USPS Priority Mail). Most orders arrive within 2-3 days following shipment.

Return Policy
If for any reason you are not completely pleased with any non-customized item, you may return it for an exchange or full refund of the purchase price. Items must be returned in original condition and in the original or similarly durable packaging. Shipping/gift wrap charges are not refundable. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Feel free to call us should you have any questions about returns.

Frequently Asked Questions 

What materials are used in creating and mounting the wall art?

Great care is taken in creating our wall art; this is a special gift and we want it to last! Each piece is individually created; nothing in the store is mass produced. Our artwork is printed on Epson Professional Enhanced Matte Archival Paper; this exceptional, heavy stock yields excellent color reproduction and optimum high resolution output. Inks are archival quality Epson Ultrachrome K3™ technology which provides outstanding color fidelity.

We use buffered and acid-free museum quality matboard, acid-free foam core backing, and archival quality paper hanging tape. All of our frames are solid wood. To finish each piece, a dust cover is applied to provide a final layer of protection, and bumpons are added to protect the wall.

All of our pieces are mounted with museum quality acrylic plexiglass instead of glass. Plexiglass is as transparent as the finest optical glass, with measured light transmission qualities ideally suited for framing. We use it for a number of reasons: it’s distortion free, it has considerable UV protection properties, and it is much more shatter resistant and lighter than glass. This protects the artwork in transit and reduces shipping costs.

Do you sell your plaques anywhere else?

No; we're pleased to offer you something special and unique! All of our wall art is exclusive to The Christian Gift. Each design features either original photography, drawings, or graphic designs.

How should I care for my wall art?

As with any piece you’ll be hanging, avoid placing it in direct sunlight to prevent sun damage, fading, and other signs of light damage.

To remove any fingerprints from the plexiglass or for general cleaning, use a weak solution of liquid dish washing detergent and warm water. Wipe the area gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and allow the surface to air dry. Don’t use glass cleaners as they may scratch the surface.

Is there any way to alter the personalization on an item?

 

Depending on the piece, the answer is often yes. The ordination gift is a good example, since it features a great deal of personalization. The terminology you wish to use might differ slightly from what is pictured, or there may be details regarding the officiant's title that you'd like to include. Give us a call to discuss what you have in mind; we'll let you know if there is room within the design to accommodate the alterations, or we can suggest alternatives to achieve your desired customization.

I'm sending this to someone else as a gift, will the recipient see the receipt?

Any time an item is shipped to another address, the receipt is not included in the package. You will receive your copy of the receipt via email. 

This is a gift and will be sent directly to the recipient; is it possible to have the item wrapped?

Absolutely! Gift wrapping is available for all products. You'll be able to include a message to the recipient as well. Look for the gift wrap option at the bottom of each product page.

Do you have a printed catalog?
To keep our costs as low as possible, we do not currently offer a printed catalog. You can view our entire collection online.

Is there a way for me to determine shipping costs before I've committed to placing my order?
Yes; place the item(s) in your shopping cart, then click on "calculate shipping cost." You'll be asked to enter your zip code, and the shipping cost will be displayed. 

My event is a week away. Can you put a "rush" on my order? 
Personalized items are all custom-created and obviously cannot be made ahead of time; we typically ask that you allow us up to 5 business days to create and ship your gift. However, if you need your order more quickly, please call us at 603-418-8608. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

No; we're located in tax-free New Hampshire. None of our customers pay sales tax.

How will I know when my order has shipped?
